Two things have impacted my life in ways that nothing else can. The first is the truth of God’s love for me and learning my identity in Him. In God’s economy, it’s all about truth.

false beliefs. Learning to face reality was not easy at the time, but was rewarding beyond what I could have imagined.
I approach psychotherapy from a position of guiding toward clarity of thought, developing an understanding of and tolerance for past hurts, and encouraging a path toward a healthier future. My passion is to take the scientific concepts and developments in the field of psychotherapy and integrate them with a Christian world view to help clients discover and embrace truth.
My previous experience includes many years as a Human Resource Manager coaching employees through difficult professional and personal experiences, and years as a certified Christian peer counselor. I received my Masters Degree in Psychological Counseling from California Lutheran University. Prior to completing my licensure I interned in counseling for domestic violence, facilitated anger management groups for men, for women and for teens mandated by the courts to receive such counseling and worked as an intern in private practice. I’ve been married for over 35 years and have two grown children.
